I imagine you must be very overwhelmed. I'm sorry. It seems that you've at least gotten comfortable with texting? That's more or less the function you'll likely use it for the most.

A friend arrived before me, and was able to instruct me on the basic uses of the 'watch'. I spend much of my time in the library. Researching. All is new here, yet our home unknown.

Ah, so you're not entirely alone here. That's good. Companionship will help a great deal when it comes to settling in.

I am an archivist, where I come from, so I know my way around a library. There are some historical texts hidden among the smut novels.
